Determination of the bearing capacity of the pressed pile with the account of its «rest»

Abstract

In this paper, the results of testing the pressed reinforced concrete piles by static loading according to the standard method and repeated tests with the increase of the term "rest" on the construction site of the residential complex in Kyiv are considered. Under existing development, designing and erection of new residential complexes is carried out according to the technology of piling with the exception of the possibility of dynamic action. For today, widespread and proven time is the technology of pushing piles out of the surface of a planned site or with the arrangement of leader wells. The special urgency of this process arises on sites with heterogeneous engineering-geological conditions. To determine the bearing capacity of the soils before the start of the pile field, a number of tests of pilot piles are carried out using existing standards techniques. The same piling tests to confirm their bearing capacity are also being carried out during the construction process. In the latter case, on the basis of the test results, the bearing capacity of the piles, as a rule, is taken at the smallest value (of the number of piles tested). This objectively leads to a reduction in the bearing capacity of piles, an increase in the cost of construction due to the increase in the number of piles and their length; changes in design features of the design scheme of the building. The factors influencing the designation of the duration of the "rest" of the pile are noted: peculiarities of the geological structure of the site - changes in characteristics, construction conditions - pace of construction, technology of installation, complicated tests, incorrectly set the standard time of "rest" piles in the soil, in accordance with specific construction conditions. The conclusion is made on the necessity of their integrated consideration when performing the tests.
